Solution
Catch Themes Costello is the inspiration for this clone. It’s the light version of my WordPress Portfolio project theme Costello Dark and can house my future React focused Web Developer portfolio.
It was built with Create React App, React Bootstrap, and React Router, and is hosted on GitHub Pages. I changed the menu hover animation for kicks, and added a subtle text gradient to the title text over the hero image for some interest.
Working in React instead of with WordPress encouraged me to take more fine grained control of this app and I think Bootstrap and I did a great job making this one look good at all screen sizes. Creating a button like WordPress Scroll To Top was fun!
This project is very much a work in progress, but the code can be viewed on GitHub. The live site lives here.
